Junk Girl

One of my favorite things to do is to spend a Sat. hunting for a treasure at flea markets, thrift stores & garage sales. Today my sister & I did just that. And found a few things we couldn't live without out.

The little desk was a steal at $125. It's solid and the only thing I have to do to it is change the knob on the front. Perfect for the tv in the kitchen. This canvas print is by a local artist and I LOVE that it has all the great things about Tulsa on it. Found this basket to hold all my tea bags, sugar & creamer. Looks right at home hanging next to the coffee pot. And the silver tray was only $7. Keeps the counter sticky free from the flavored syrup spills. Could not leave without getting this shake blender for my hubby. He is a ice cream maniac and we have burned up several blender motors making shakes. How cool is that vintage green color? A older couple from Ks. buys and rebuilds these. The only one who will be more excited is Jade, my daughter in law. Those two love ice cream. I'm thinking shakes for Sunday's dessert.

It has been forever since I have spent a day "junkin". Can't wait to do it again. It's in my blood what can I say. Is it garage sale season yet?????
